ok la, to tell the truth, its not made of radish, but bread aka Lo-ti~!

Haha.. but resemble the real thing right?

Coz due to the ingredient used, such as sausage, chinese mushrooms and toasted onions, thus hard to differentiate if its the real kueh anot.

Here are the recipe.

Chinese Loti – Kueh

Ingredients:
10 slices of white bread (preferably 2 days old bread)
1 Chinese sausage (diced)
5 pc preserved mushroom (soften in water, shred)
2 tbsp toasted onions
2 tbsp dried shrimps (soften in water)
2 tbsp Onion oil

Method:
1. Cut away bread crusts.
2. Prepare a bowl of water and add a little salt to the water
3. Dip each slice individually and bring up immediately to squeeze out the excess water.
4. Squeeze out excess water.
5. Set aside bread.
6. In a wok, add onion oil to heat.
7. Add dried shrimps to fry till fragrant.
8. Add diced Chinese sausages and mushrooms, fry for 5 min
9. Add toasted onion to mix.
10. Pour fillings into soaked bread.
11. Stir to combine evenly.
12. Pour into dish/casserole and steam over high heat for 40 min.
13. Remove and serve immediately.

But mine too drying ... shall dip the bread longer the next time round. =)
