Popped back home, learnt how to make red glutionous rice wine under Mdm Lim aka my mummy!
Interesting thou.
It's an home-made thing, as people dun sell it readily as the validity of the wine is not long-lasting unless placed in fridge.
And not everyone can afford the space to keep it too!
Making this has it's own myth too.
One has to be clean (aka it's not that time of the month).
Two, no 百事 for dunno long duration.
Guess aft 21days can start to make ba.
Three, cannot 乱说话 when in the process of making it.
Four, guess the same with gardening where one has to have green fingers, same for this? Hmm...
This rice wine is usually done for one to be used during confinement.
Before u all get mistaken, it's not for me.
It's for Marie!
She's due in late July/early Aug! :)

First we need this. Think it's called hong qu (红戌)
Next, the 酒饼.
There's the sweetened n unsweetened one.
The one I'm showing is sweetened de.
Cooked glutionous rice (2kg worth!)
